A poem a day keeps sorrow away

“These I Can Promise”
by Mark Twain

I cannot promise you a life of sunshine;
I cannot promise riches, wealth or gold;
I cannot promise you an easy pathway
That leads away from change or growing old.
But I can promise all my heart’s devotion
A smile to chase away your tears of sorrow;
A love that’s ever true and ever growing;
A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow.

Preparing the day and the heart....

The best!

When Cristiano was eleven years old, he came to Sporting Academy, a Lisbon team.
In the beginning he was sad because his family was not near. He was a very good student at the Academy.
he became a good footballplayer and in the beginning he played in the team of Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Then, he went to manchester, an  English team. There he won many games and many prizes.
His number is seven and his nickname is CR7.
He asked his family to go to London, to live with him. He protected his family: his mother, his father, his brothers and his sister. Some time later, his father died.
Cristiano continued to be a great football player.
Real Madrid, a Spanish Team, n if the best all over the world, wanted Cristiano and bought the pass.
And Cristiano went to Madrid.
he is not married but a few years ago he wanted a son. So, he paid a woman to be his son's mother.
Nobody knows this woman.
The name of the boy is Cristaino and now he is four years old.
His last girlfriend was Irina, a Russian top model.
CR7 wins prizes everyyear and 2014 was a very good year for him: he won another golden ball, because he was considered the best football player all over the worl by the third time.
CR7 is building a Museum in Funchal where visitors coming from all over the world  can see his prizes.
For us, Cristiano is the best of the world and this is ver good for the Portuguese people because he is Portuguese.
We are very proud of him!
Congratulations, Cristiano!
